One day, Traci Bogan strapped on a backpack and set off to see the world.  She began crisscrossing America, but soon she broke free of her continental boundaries and completed a twenty-three country world tour. She traversed the physical peaks and valleys of the land, all while experiencing the spiritual peaks and valleys that come with self-discovery. For many lonely nights on strange beds in unfamiliar lands, she had only her own thoughts to wrap around herself and she dreamed of love.

As she traveled, she asked people she met about love in their lives and she marveled at the common bond that love created between complete strangers. After spending four months in India she was renamed "Carry Prema" by Vinod Kumar, her yoga guru. Kumar felt the moniker, meaning "Wherever you go, bring love," personified her desire for improving her own life and her passion for inspiring others to follow their own dreams.  After an abrupt return to America (due to severe illness), Traci discovered that she had a message and a calling to "bring love" to the world; her books and products are the first step in an attempt to fulfill that prophecy.  Traci often writes under the pen name “Carry Prema”and “Sgt. Traci” and has created the smarty pants world-saving cartoon character to help signify her mission.
